Brian and Ryan are two college students who play lacrosse at Texas A&M University. Through a stroke of pure luck, and the fact that their mothers both work for Continental Airlines, these two have been able to hit the club lacrosse tournament scene at quite an early age.
It all started with the 2003 E-Lacrosse Amsterdam Tournament. Ryan had a buddy in high school who was a foreign exchange student from Germany. While visiting Texas in the summer of 2003, this German dude told Ryan about a tournament in Amsterdam that he was playing in. Cha-Ching! Seconds later Ryan was on the phone with Brian, his teammate who also flies the friendly skies for not a dime. After a whole lot of leg-pulling, Brian was finally convinced to go to Amsterdam and play in this tournament. The two were welcomed onto Ryan's buddy's team which was actually the home team called Maastricht.
As you can see by the pictures, Brian and Ryan had an amazing time in Amsterdam and were hooked on the tournament scene. A couple of months later, an alumna of Texas A&M, who goes by the handle Blair Allison, was talking to Brian on the phone and boasting of his vacation to Hawaii in two days to play in the 2003 Hawaii Lacrosse Invitational. While in conversation, Blair got the crazy idea to tell Brian that if he could get a plane ticket out to Hawaii in two days, he would have a spot on the Barbary Coast team and they would try to find him a floor in someone's room to crash in. Of course, Brian was right in the middle of his school semester and he couldn't just hop on a plane and be gone for six days to Hawaii...or could he? Well he did, and Ryan came also and by looking at the pictures one might say they had yet another phenomenal time.
